Services
Our Community Resource Centre is considered the hub of the community, providing access to computers, the internet, printing, photocopying, laminating, photo development, book swapping/buying library, local merchandise in our Pop Shop, video conferencing and meeting room facilities, education and training and other secretarial service assistance and technology. The Resource Centre is an agent for Services Australia (including Centrelink, Medicare, Child Support etc) and has established free computer access and information for Western Australian Government departments including for Ngala, a parenting assistance organisation. Any enquiries are welcome in regards to local clubs, events including specifically our local Shark Bay Fiesta as well as any Speedway race meets (including the annual blue ribboned event - Far Western Speedway Championships) and local market days. Shark Bay CRC also has local fisheries information (including state government laws/bag limits etc) and can assist you with your online WA Recreational Fishing license applications.
Government Information
All CRCs have a dedicated computer within their centre providing free internet access to Government information. We also provide a diverse range of brochures, fact sheets and booklets on government and non-government services available to you.
Memberships
The Shark Bay Community Centre offers memberships to businesses, families, local clubs, local groups and individuals on both a monthly or annual basis.
Annual Fee:
$50 family & local clubs/groups| $30 concession| $100 business| Monthly: $20
A paid membership entitles you to:
20% off printing, photocopying, faxing, scanning, desktop publishing, graphic design, laminating etc

Free use of our DVD library (conditions apply)
Free book swap
Use of our Toy Library – Kindy Gym equipment from the Rec Centre

20% discount to participate in some CRC organised activities (eg. cooking workshops, card making activities, Photoshop training sessions etc).

The Shark Bay Community Resource Centre established and continues to maintain the local Facebook page - Shark Bay Buy, Sell & Swap which has over 12,800 followers and provides easy access to information in our community.
